 2024 RCSMA
Scholarship Festival

Robert C. Parker School

May 9, 2024

Hello

Each year, the Rensselaer County School Music Association awards nearly $3,000 in scholarships to our student musicians. The objectives of this festival are:

  • to develop music excellence as a solo performer

  • to encourage the performance of solo literature

  • to foster the continued study of music

  • and to recognize outstanding performing musicians of Rensselaer County

We award a first place scholarship of $300 and a second place scholarship of $150 to each of our divisions (Grades 6-8; Grades 9-10; Grades 11-12). Additionally, we award a first place scholarship of $1,000 and a second place scholarship of $500 to graduating seniors who are continuing their education as a music major in college.
